Return of the Police Motorcycle!

The LEGO City Police Motorcycle 7235 has returned to store shelves! I recently went to my local LEGO Store, and have been for a while, but this time there was a very rare set. The Police Motorcycle 7235 hasn't been dicontinued, but was removed from most stores.

I was told that these sets are returning to LEGO Stores all over, so drive on down to your local LEGO Store & pickup another officer without the hassle of shipping. You can also get the LEGO City 7236 Police Car at Local LEGO or ToysRus Stores.
Also, if you saw a post from Adam about late releases of a ToysRus Truck, it's a real set! Just released. I'll be posting more information on that in a few days. ToysRus Truck.

LEGO Ben 10

LEGO & Cartoonnetwork have released a line of Ben 10 Alien Force Aliens earlier this year. A total of six, bionicle-like, aliens were released. These were top sellers for a while, but then died down until now. Bandai has/is getting ready to release a new line of figures & omnitrix morphers for Ben 10 and the sets are starting to sell alot, again.

I'm not sure about other areas, as LEGO has released too many new sets for these to be top sellers already, but at ToysRus Jetray 8518 is number 2 on that list with the others following close behind.
Currently, there isn't any information on Ultimate Alien or other Ben 10 Sets or discontinue dates.

LEGO Kingdoms Released

Over the past week or so LEGO has released different Kingdoms Sets. These are available in both Australlia & the United States. Castle is still available, but from rumors & common sense, it should be cancelled by 2011, so get your rare sets ASAP!

The main Kingdoms line should be fully out by now, other countries may have few or none available, as LEGO has released a few of the sets per day.

One set I'd like to talk about is 7955 Wizard. This is a remake of the Knights Wizard, but has what appears to be a spell book rather than a cauldron, a little bench/table with potions and dragon type pet.
3.99 USD 4.99 AUD

More Airport Information

Surely nobody has gotten boed of the new airport, yet? I've seem some comments about smaller and cheaper, but I discovered a few things with images from both 3182 & 7984. I lost the links to any good shots of 7894, but I'm sure you can find those else where.

In 7894 the airport only has one floor, and stairless viewing platforms, 3182 gives you two stories and a roof, although, yes, it is a simple set. But let's get to the main purpose of this blog. There are currntly three giant passenger planes: 7893, 7894, and 3182.

7893: The longest plane, most seats and two doors. Holds two suit cases.

7894: The shorest plane, least seats and one door. Holds two suit cases.

3182: Length of Cargo plane, two more seats than 7894. Holds four suitcases.

3181: Smallest, other than 7894. 6+1 seats. Holds no suitcases.
Hopefully there will be more information on the new 2010 City trains within the next few days.

LEGO Bricks are not cheap

Most LEGO builders out there love making custom models to fit in to there displays as LEGO don't sell a lot of detail models on the lego.com .

As you's all know i am building my own custom airport using Ldd to design it but its going to cost $1000's to build as its not cheap to build in so detail.

After a long look around the internet i found a LEGO online market place were builders sell and buy new and used bricks for there models or to fix old ones that they have lost parts from.

Its called bricklink what is worldwide network of LEGO builders/business that sell and buy LEGO that is hard to get from lego.com pick'a'brick store.

Go over and check out the site at http://www.bricklink.com/

Cheapest Airport in US?

Hey guys, looking for the cheapest place to get an airport? Well look no further because we aren't selling them cheap, no. But I do have some helpful information on teh cheapest places to get the Airport line in the US.

First off, do we want the absolute cheapest or the fastest? For me, I have a LEGO Store and a Toys R Us within 30 miles of my home, you may not be so lucky. For the quickest run down to your local Toys R Us or LEGO Store, they should have it, but check to make sure.

CHEAPEST:

Ordering online is still a little cheaper than in stores, however slaes tax is different in different areas.

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=3181&cn=339&d=9
It may be cheaper on Toysrus, but with shipping & tax, it's worse, plus waiting for shipping. You can get this deal at both stores.

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=3177&cn=339&d=9
Cheapest at your local LEGO Store.

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=3178&cn=339&d=9
Head down to Walmart, Target or your local LEGO Store.

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=3179&cn=339&d=9
This set is cheapest at Walmart, Target or your local LEGO Store

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=7567&cn=339&d=9
Cheapest at yoru local LEGO Store.

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3985322
Online at Toysrus or your local LEGO Store.

FASTEST:

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=3182&cn=339&d=9
Quickest at the local LEGO Store or Toysrus.

For the very cheapest, you might find a used Small Car, or Seaplane on ebay or Craigslist for a good price, but I guess it's not same?

Lego Cargo train is out now

The new LEGO cargo train being the biggest of the 2 new train sets retailing here in Australia for $299 is cool but on the downside it uses AAA
batteries then cheaper AA batteries making it cost a lot more to run.

you could get the new LEGO® Power Functions Rechargeable Battery Box what retails for $100 AUD plus the 10V DC Transformer what retails for $43 AUD making cost of the set go to $450 what bit over priced for mums and dads to buy for Xmas.

the cheaper way would be to get energizer battery charger and 10-12 AAA battery's what cost around $20 for pack of 4 making it cost $20 less and a lot easy to replace when the battery's dies.

over all the set is new refresh design for the LEGO city train sets and is a must buy for any LEGO collector

The Brick 101 vlog update

LEGO® City Train Station

A description from LEGO®:

Get on the inside track with the new LEGO® City train station!
The railroad station's open, service has begun and it's teeming with activity as passengers check train timetables, buy tickets and board their trains. To cross to the other side the passengers take the pedestrian bridge. The taxi waits to take passengers to their final destination.

  • Includes 4 minifigures: 1 train driver, 1 taxi driver, and 2 travelers.
  • Station has sheltered waiting area, kiosk, ticket machine and timetables
  • Features 4 straight tracks
  • Taxi has plenty of room for the driver and passenger
  • Station measures 11" (29cm) long
  • Note: Tracks are not compatible with LEGO 9V trains.

This set is brand new to the United States & Australlia. 7936, 7938, 7939 are also in the City Train line & available online in Australlia. Unfortunatly, this set, like the airport, is much smaller than the last station, however it does look a little more realistic. But will leave it up to Adam for a full review.

My airport project

After buying the new lego airport 3mths ago i have start rebuilding it in to high detail model to go on display one day at a lego show here in australia.

Stage one only started today with a jet way/air bridge my goal is to make it look a lot like the real thing.

here is LDD screen shot of it
